Hearing set in former Who’s Your Daddy executives’s drug case

After a delay of nearly a year, Edon Moyal, the co-founder of San Diego-based energy drink company Who’s Your Daddy Inc., will try to convince a judge later this month that the government’s indictment against him in a drug trafficking case is too vague and that they’ve got to answer some specific questions about what, exactly, he’s accused of doing. Moyal filed his motion for a “bill of particulars” in January, but the court hearing has been delayed several times.

His lawyer also asked the judge to force the government to give him a separate trial, because the other defendants, he says, look so guilty that a jury might convict Moyal simply by his association. Moyal, along with nearly a dozen others, was charged last year in a far reaching drug conspiracy that made national headlines after a high-speed chase along San Diego freeways. Who’s Your Daddy is now known as FITT Highway Products Inc. (OTCBB: FHWY.OB).
